Astro Dollars

Astro Dollars Adult Affiliate Program The Astro Dollars adult affiliate program has announced they will be officially closing at the end of 2018. “Dear webmaster. With this letter we inform you that we initiate the closure of our affiliate program. We have been happy to work with you all these years. All rebills and payments will be active until the end of 2018. We recommend that you remove all affiliate links in the coming week. Websites and galleries will continue to work, but we do not guarantee traffic accounting and signups count after September 10th. Thank you for working with us.”

The Astro Dollars adult affiliate program would best be described as offering high quality mature content. Though other niche content can be found, the vast majority is of the granny variety, with quite a few MILFs thrown in for good measure. While a couple of their mature content sites contain links to mobile tours, there is an additional multi-niche site intended solely for mobile users. Although the content is of high quality, and the sites are mainly very attractive with lots of sample content to peruse, the largest obstacle we foresee for affiliates is a near complete absence of promo text.

Summary

As mentioned, the Astro Dollars program offers very little in terms of unique content that affiliates might otherwise use as a basis for their own promotional copy. This absence of text extends not only to the galleries, but to the sites themselves, as well as the RSS feeds. Fortunately, all of which do offer unique titles, including the scene samples on the sites, which industrious affiliates might use as a starting point for their own copy, but that is about it. While we’re on the subject of the RSS feeds, we feel that we should also point out that they are for the latest gallery offerings which apparently are dumped in large batches and not altogether frequently. There are also blog RSS feeds which boast large photos and lengthy unique text, but sadly those have not been updated in a matter of years.

Affiliates should also be aware that visitor tracking is accomplished mainly via 30 day cookies, though the affiliate IDs do remain in place once the visitor arrives on site, but drops from the URL when they navigate away from the landing page to which they were directed. Fortunately, affiliates will find it is a simple matter to create their own deep links to sample content on the sites for which the surfer will be cookied, and the affiliate credited, and there are no mechanisms in place to prevent such deep links from being indexed.

Although the Astro Dollars program has certain shortcomings, it is not necessarily a bad program. In fact, affiliates interested in a program primarily offering mature niche content will find much here to their liking. Just be aware that while the program does update, those updates are not on a consistent schedule, and affiliates are largely on their own when it comes to promo copy.
