CamsPerformance

CamsPerformance Adult Affiliate Program Removed for non-payment. The CamsPerformance program changed hands since we first reviewed them. Apparently during that transition of ownership our payment slipped through the cracks. The new owner stepped up and said he would make good on our unpaid earnings, but after a couple of months of waiting – and no replies to multiple attempts at contact – it now seems as if we were misled.

CamsPerformance is a brand new adult affiliate program in the webcam niche. This is not your typical adult affiliate program in that CamsPerformance does not have any sites of their own, but is rather an advertising network who provides the means for their affiliates to promote a variety of sites from disparate programs whom have already been vetted, all from a single account. If it helps, you can think of CamsPerformance as your personal assistants who have been tasked with securing the best webcam deals for you to promote, freeing you up to focus your attention on other matters. Summary

As indicated above, the payment structures available to the CamsPerformance affiliates varies greatly with the current offers. As of this writing, we see $30-140 CPA (Cost-Per-Action ie signup with purchase), $1 PPL (Pay-Per-Lead ie free signup with confirmed email), and 80% RevShare options available. So, not too shabby!

Again, CamsPerformance is a very new program. Part of what that means is that some of the claims made on the program tour are currently unfulfilled. For instance, on one page the program tour states payouts are made weekly but on another they clarify that they are currently made biweekly with plans to move to weekly, and then eventually daily. Also, payments are currently only available by Paxum, PayPal, and Wire.

Similarly, some of the promotional tools aren’t quite where they need to be, yet. We tested several of the smart link tools, with limited success. What we are most interested – and assume other affiliates will be as well – are the smart link banners where the banners rotate along with the top offers available. We only got the ‘Girls’ traffic source banners to load any sort of content at all, and approximately half of the test clicks we sent returned “Offer not active” pages. Of course, an alternative could be to go to the ‘Marketplace’ tab and browse what offers with creatives are available and design your own, but unfortunately we did not see too many creatives available at the moment. There are lots of landing pages to choose from, though, which suggests they might be catering to a larger market for the ever-ubiquitous popups and pop-unders.

Personally, we have never been fans of any sort of popup, popunder, or even exit consoles, but that does not mean we don’t understand and appreciate affiliates desire to maximize the return on their traffic. To that end, those affiliates looking for a popunder program that will provide a diversity of results in the webcam niche, while also providing the best deals of the moment, may want to check out the CamsPerformance program. We aren’t saying they are 100% where they need to be, yet, but they are getting there.
