CandidLooks is an interesting adult affiliate program whose content can best be described as fitting the Euro and amateur niches. Although there are only 8 sites at present, they are of decent quality, however it should be noted that they each are built on WordPress and have characteristics as such. While illustrating a history of steady and consistent updates is of obvious benefit, it does raise the question of how efficacious the blog designs are for generating sales – after all, surfers have been conditioned to thinking of blogs as being free. It should also be noted that while the content is obviously Euro in origin, the dialog is almost entirely in accented English – though in some instances with the benefit of a translator, which is certainly better than not having a clue to what is being said.

New affiliates of the CandidLooks program have the option of getting paid through CCBill or Verotel. While the two are fairly equal in terms of benefits – ie weekly payouts, grouping disparate programs into a single master account, etc, we would suggest CCBill to those who do not already have an account with either, mainly due to CCBill being a much more popular third party payment and billing company that nearly all adult affiliates will eventually find themselves using at some point.
Potential affiliates should be aware that the CandidLooks programs promotional content is almost exclusively comprised of FLV tube clips. Though some photo content is available on the sites’ blog-style update entries, they are mainly in the form of screen grab grids depicting the video content. In addition to affiliates being given hosted and embedded options for promoting the clips, it is also of note that there is also a means of creating links to galleries, with the hosted FLVs embedded various templates, complete with affiliate IDs. Unfortunately, the promotional ‘galleries’ only contain a modicum of unique text descriptions distinguishing one from the next, so affiliates will by and large need to write their own promotional copy. It should also be pointed out that while new promotional videos are added regularly, they appear somewhat unsorted with the newer videos intermixed with the older ones, sometimes requiring the affiliate to search through several pages in order to find the latest update. Additionally, while no RSS feeds are given for affiliates to easily promote the latest updates, as the sites themselves are essentially blogs, it is a simple matter to grab the site feeds – though affiliates will need to amend the entries with their own link codes to receive credit for any generated sales.
In summary, CandidLooks has some attractive content that will be of particular interest to those affiliates promoting the amateur niche, and also those promoting the Euro niche, though to a lesser extent. Since CandidLooks is not your typical adult affiliate program it may take some getting used to and require some additional consideration when planning how best to utilize the promotional content provided.
