GuyDollars is a relatively new adult affiliate program which we can only assume will be centered around gay niche content. With one look, affiliates will likely agree that it seems a pretty safe bet. At present, the GuyDollars program has a small but growing number of high quality exclusive content site which, when taken with the name of the program, supports that assumption. However, those sites are not your generic gay content fare, but rather cater to some select micro-niches. While that content may not appeal to everyone, experienced affiliates can affirm that the more rarefied the content typically results in proportionately better conversions. Summary
As a result of the GuyDollars program being rather new, and that there are a limited number of sites at present, unfortunately there is not currently a whole lot of content to promote. However, we are pleased to say that that should not be the case for too much longer as updates and their corresponding NATS promotional tools (hosted galleries, tube clips, and zip content sets) are being added regularly. We are also pleased to say that those promotional tools are of exceptional quality as well. Not only will affiliates find good unique text descriptions provided with each update to assist in drafting their own copy, but it also merits mention that nowhere will they find canonical links, noindex meta tags, or robots files to further limit affiliate pages inclusion in search engines.
Unfortunately, the provided content feed is not so well-suited for typical affiliate promotion. The feed entries link to a hosted blogs entries, which in turn link to a join page. Granted, following the links all the way through, starting from the feed, does result in the user being cookied and thus the referring affiliate will be credited for any resultant sale. However, we suspect most affiliates looking for RSS feeds are likely looking for something they can drop in auto-blogging aggregators and have the posts that are generated contain their affiliate ID. While that is still possible, it will require something more, such as a rewriting plugin or URL substitution to ensure that they are credited.
So far, we like what we have seen of the GuyDollars program. The exclusive micro-niche content is of excellent quality, and there are some very good promotional tools to assist affiliates. If the program can keep the updates coming, affiliates will likely find GuyDollars to be a very profitable adult affiliate program.
