PeabodyCash

PeabodyCash Adult Affiliate Program The PeabodyCash adult affiliate program has since changed their name to PornNerdCash. Interested affiliates should look to that new listing for our updated review of the program.

PeabodyCash is a newly re-launched adult affiliate program featuring mainly amateur and solo model content. While there are more sites in the entire network, at present affiliates are provided linking codes and promotional tools to approximately half of those. Also, although the program tour touts 100% exclusive content, that is a bit of a stretch as several of the sites contain content that is easily recognizable as licensed content found on many other sites as well.

Summary

CCBill programs generally have their distinct advantages – namely added trust in programs utilizing a third party to track sales as well as the ability to group all programs into a single account with a low weekly payout minimum. However, most CCBill programs suffer from the same shortcomings as well, and PeabodyCash is no different in that regard. Particularly, we are referring to a lack of unique text scene descriptions in the galleries, and visitors being tracked entirely by cookies with no “hard” links with the affiliates ID once the visitor lands on the site. What this means is that if a visitor follows an affiliates link to a programs site, bookmarks it, and returns later to join, there is a more than passing chance the affiliate will not be credited with the sale – depending largely upon if the cookie has expired or the visitor has cleared their cache of cookies in the interim. For this reason, we typically recommend affiliates limit their linking predominately to galleries and consider using nofollow link attributes when linking directly to CCBill program sites.

While the PeabodyCash sites look good, the most disturbing thing we found is the prevalent links to Mister Peabody World turned Porn Nerd Network, an all-in-one updates site which replaces the referring affiliates ID with 2026216 – the ‘house’ ID we suspect. Additionally, this updates site links back to all of the sites with that same 2026216 user ID. Essentially, once visitors click the prominently displayed links to “explore the updates,” the affiliate has lost all chance of being credited with resultant sales. We emailed the administrator concerning this seemingly intentional traffic leak in August 2011 and were initially told that a lot of codes had changed with the relaunch and they were still fixing bugs. We assumed this meant that the traffic leak issue would be addressed ASAP, but after a week of no change we emailed them again about when a fix might be expected. At this time we were told new tours were scheduled to be rolled out “in a couple weeks” which will be leak-free and not contain links to the Mister Peabody World update site. New sites have since rolled out with no apparent change. While this might otherwise be a good adult affiliate program, until the traffic leaks have been addressed we will not be promoting the PeabodyCash program. Existing and potential affiliates alike should be aware of these apparently intentional traffic leaks and take them into consideration when planning their promotional efforts.
