CamSoda is not exactly a brand new webcam program, but we can see where some of the older programs would consider them to be the unruly upstarts. For the most part, they are your typical webcam program, so users should know what to expect. But, they do some things a little different, and those little differences are what set them apart. For instance, users visit webcam sites to see girls (and guys, too – but mostly girls) getting naked and doing naughty things. So, why then do most cam sites prohibit nudity in the girls’ profile pics and public chat? CamSoda doesn’t, and users are going to realize within seconds that this site is going to provide them with what they are looking.

CamSoda has also expanded on the traditional webcam exchange model of users buying tokens and using those tokens to tip the performers and/or buy access to their private shows. Here, users can also use those tokens to purchase captured videos and photo sets which are saved on site, so the program is not entirely giving up control of the content. Sure, there are ways around that control, but that is a whole other discussion. In addition to the captured content are also “exclusive videos” which are mostly of a scripted nature specifically by and for CamSoda.
As far as promotional tools are concerned, CamSoda is pretty much on par with most other cam programs. There are banners, of course, and it should be noted that these all reflect the explicit nature of the site. While RSS feeds are not available as a promotional tool, we have a couple of points worth mentioning: FIRST, JSON feeds are available – an api alternative for those familiar with them, and SECOND, the CamSoda site has a blog complete with RSS feed, to which affiliates might avail themselves. There is also an IM popup for those affiliates who want to go old-school.
It is also worth noting that the CamSoda site contains quite a few ads to third-party sites. But, with a no-credit-card-required free-to-register site, that is somewhat understandable.
All in all, CamSoda looks like it could be a very profitable webcam program. Most webcam users just want to see naked girls doing explicit things live on cam, and CamSoda has cut to the chase in order to give them exactly that!
