Deranged Dollars is a relatively new adult affiliate program, currently with just two sites. Their flagship site is decidedly in the anal niche, where a recent addition is devoted to femdom. If that premiere site is any indication, the Deranged Dollars program would best be described as having ultra high quality content in the arena of BDSM and rough sex bordering on the bizarre. While it is entirely possible that even more sites are slated for future release, we would like to see the affiliate tools for the sites already available for promotion rounded out before they begin to divide their attention. Which is not to say that there are no tools available, just that they are rather limited at present – though there is some indication that there is the intent to add them in the foreseeable future. Summary
As mentioned above, the Deranged Dollars program is currently rather light in terms of promotional tools. At present, affiliates will find hosted tube clips, and various downloadable content including copy-and-paste type blog entries. While there are also links to such tools as hosted galleries and RSS feeds, they currently fail to generate any results. Perhaps overly optimistic on our part, but we would like to believe that the presence of said links is some indication that those tools will indeed be added at a later date.
Although the Deranged Dollars program does not make use of canonical links or robots.txt files to dissuade search engines from indexing pages containing affiliate IDs, that is rather moot as affiliate IDs are dropped from the URL when surfers arrive on site anyway. In such cases, we customarily encourage affiliates to consider using nofollow link attributes in order to conserve what linkjuice might otherwise be wasted. While it has always been advisable for affiliates to focus primarily on getting their own content indexed where interested surfers can easily navigate to the sites promoted, getting sponsor pages indexed with ones own affiliate link is just a bit of gravy – and increasingly a thing of the past, unfortunately.
In terms of quality of content, we certainly like what we see of the Deranged Dollars program. However, we think that most adult affiliates would agree that it would be nice to have some more promotional tools with which to work. In any event, affiliates looking for exceptionally high quality content in the rough sex and/or anal niche will likely find the content of the Deranged Dollars program to their liking.
