Summary
Promotion of the VD Bucks sites is made considerably easier by extensive unique text, both on the sites and within the RSS feeds. Though it also bears mentioning that while many of the galleries also contain a staggering amount of text, it is all non-unique sales copy. Unfortunately, it should also be noted that most of the sites and galleries contain canonical links – links within the pages source code basically telling search engines that there are multiple versions of that same page and the preferred page to index, typically one without any affiliates ID. While the use of canonical links on sponsors sites is increasingly common, their use on galleries is more than a little excessive in our opinion. As is customary for us, we encourage affiliates to first peruse the target pages source code to determine whether or not to use nofollow relationship tags with their links.
The VD Bucks adult affiliate program will certainly appeal to those affiliates promoting exotic amateurs, and likely sex tourism/mongering affiliates as well. While there is a lot to like about the VD Bucks program, especially the frequent updates, extensive promotional text, and availability of promotional tools, affiliates will want to take the pervasive use of canonical links into consideration when deciding how best to promote this program.
