ALT DOLLARS is an adult affiliate program for alt – which is to say tattooed and pierced – content. When we first reviewed this program, we were pretty critical, but justly so. We are pleased to say that they have since made some major improvements, pretty much addressing all of the points we raised. Before, there were some pretty significant traffic leaks – more like funnels, actually – which have been removed. And there was practically nothing to promote other than a site link. Since, there have been several significant gallery and promotional content dumps added, which is fine and all, but nothing along the lines of a consistent update schedule of promotional materials for affiliates. Summary
Once again, the ALT DOLLARS program has made several dramatic improvements since our initial review. Mostly, we are pleased with the removal of the very conspicuous traffic leaks to their clips4sale channel. There are still a couple of traffic leaks, but they are discreet links for cams and dating and down in the footer area of the site. We’re not thrilled that they’re there, but still way better than it was before.
For affiliate promotion, there are now over 100 hosted galleries and a handful of photo content sets to which affiliates might avail themselves. Although the galleries have unique titles, scene description text is absent. However, industrious affiliates can find good text descriptions for each scene the galleries come from on the site.
We are pleased that the folks at ALT DOLLARS are continuing to improve their program, and now feel much more comfortable recommending it to affiliates promoting the alt and tattoo niches. We are hopeful the improvements will continue, and will continue to monitor the ALT DOLLARS program and update our review accordingly.
