The AsiaMoviePass program appears all but closed, with just their flagship site still operating, and content sets the only working promo tools to speak of. We had left their links up on this review for affiliates who were still interested until hearing multiple allegations of non-payment.
AsiaMoviePass is an adult affiliate program with a small list of quality, though mainly non-exclusive, content. It would not take much for AsiaMoviePass to make it into our list of best adult affiliate programs, but as it now stands they barely merit mentioning. Their critical flaws are a distinct lack of promotional tools and recent gallery updates – although the sites seem to be updated with new content for members. The sites and current galleries are superb, but without the tools affiliates will have a more difficult time promoting this small program, no matter how attractive they might be. Summary
As stated above, AsiaMoviePass does have some very nice sites and galleries in the Asian niche, including some relatively rare sub-niches. We are also pleased to say they do not utilize any of the shadier tricks such as nofollow meta tags, canonical linking or robots files to give pages without affiliate IDs an advantage in the search engines over those of the affiliates. Most of the galleries have good unique text scene descriptions – particularly those for their flagship site of the same name which have multiple scene flash videos with accompanying scene descriptions for each. Given the choice, however, we think most affiliates would agree that a single scene per gallery would suffice, in exchange for more frequent gallery updates and/or a good RSS feed.
While AsiaMoviePass could be a very good program for industrious affiliates, the average and novice webmaster will probably want to pass on this program until such time as more tools have been added and/or gallery updates resume.
