After a full year of promotion, the Soulcam program’s stats indicates we only ever sent one unique and zero raw hits in that time. Which is, to say the least, absolutely ridiculous. Perhaps their failure to track our traffic sent is not intentional, but we are nevertheless left with nothing but our regret and suspicions.
Soulcams would best be described as a relatively small adult affiliate program with a single webcam site of the same name. And really, the site is not all that small; there appear to be hundreds of models/performers who check in regularly, but we have yet to see a single instance when there were more than a dozen online at once. To be fair, though, we have only dropped in a handful of times to browse the program for the sake of this review, so it’s entirely possible we keep missing their ‘rush’. However, one thing is apparent: this is not your typical webcam program.

Summary
As we have said, Soulcams is not your typical webcam program. While it is probably geeky of us to admit, and not really worth mentioning, we really like how they set up a wiki for disbursing info to webmasters, members, and performers. Affiliates will find some of the tools here, such as banners, as well as updates about running promotions.
Also, as we were browsing the models online, the first one we came across was giving a BJ – WHAT?! We’re not talking head bobbing in the shadows where you can’t really see what’s going on, but rather the dude standing in profile so the member can see it all. Granted, this is probably the exception that proves the rule as the rest of the models were the typical assortment of girls laying in bed putting on a show and others sitting in front of the camera waiting for viewers.
As far as tools go, affiliates will find various linking options, banners, a javascript widget that is a hallmark of webcam programs, and **XML/JSON/CSV feeds. While there are no hosted galleries per se, affiliates do have the option of creating their own deep links to each and every model bio page, which typically contain their personal details, streaming feed if they are online, and gallery photos, which we believe make them more than suitable substitutes.
The biggest drawback to the Soulcams program that we can see is the finite number of models online at any given time. However, the Soulcams program also offers a model referral program, so affiliates who have the connections to refer some new models can make some money while also improving the program. Win, win!
