While we cannot honestly say that PlatinumBucks is one of the best adult affiliate programs we have come across, it is far from the worst. PlatinumBucks offers a huge list of sites covering pretty much all adult niches – some of the sites are exclusive, though most are not – with the majority being niche DVD download sites, and their flagship VOD (Video On Demand) site. Essentially, PlatinumBucks might best be described as a Jack Of All Trades Yet Master Of None type adult affiliate program. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if you’re looking for an adult affiliate program with a diversity of content to offer your surfers, though we wouldn’t recommend building your marketing strategy entirely around this program.

Our chief complaint with the PlatinumBucks adult affiliate program is the lack of tools. In addition to being a handy way of grabbing galleries to promote, RSS feeds usually give an indication of how often a site updates. While we know the niche DVD download sites are adding new DVD’s on a daily basis, we are given no indication of whether or not the other sites update at all, but we are guessing not. It should also be noted that the majority of sites use cookies to track visitors, meaning that you can forget about your linked pages ever getting indexed in the search engines. That alone wouldn’t be a bad thing if the galleries offered some unique text that might get them indexed instead, but sadly that is not the case though easily rectified by taking advantage of their free hosting to host your own SEO friendly galleries.
The good news is that the majority of sites offer a whopping 70 to 80% revshare and joining one site gives the member access to pretty much all of them so members have more than enough content to peruse to keep them coming back for a couple of months at least.
