The SolarCash program has closed without notice. The SolarCash domain currently displays a holding page.
SolarCash is a fairly large CCBill based program for featured girl sites, at least as such programs go. Additionally, the program has a couple of multi-model sites, and provides their affiliates with some deep links to direct surfers to landing pages showcasing some of the more popular models. That said, unfortunately the program appears to have stopped updating quite some time ago. As is frequently the case, some of their listed sites are no longer available, either. Since it is our objective to provide affiliates with details of what they can expect of a program, those sites that are no longer functional are wholly omitted, regardless of whether or not there are remnant tools for their promotion.

Summary
It appears as if the folks behind SolarCash have at least a couple of other adult affiliate programs as well as this one. While we may be wrong, we are of the impression that they routinely build up a program and when it has pretty much run its course they divert their primary attention to another. This is actually good news – at least in part, for affiliates, as it appears that referred members get bonus access to at least some of the newer sites, thus having more of a reason to renew their monthly memberships. Of course, promoting the program and sites which are being actively updated with new content is a far more attractive proposition, so we will be reviewing them in the immediate future.
Although the SolarCash sites have stopped adding new content, that is not to say that the sites have gone unchanged. With the recent buzz surrounding bitcoins, apparently they have added the only currency as a payment method to their join pages. Since SolarCash affiliates are paid by CCBill, who does not process bitcoin transaction, that means it is highly unlikely affiliates will be compensated for any referred members who opt for this payment method. While the percentage of lost sales is likely pretty minuscule, we are of the impression that any attempt to cutout the affiliate is pretty shitty and perhaps an indication of other shady practices that might otherwise have escaped notice.
While lack of updates was bad enough, bypassing CCBill, and thus affiliates, on the join page is reason enough for us to advise interested affiliates to promote with caution.
